How are Chinese experts assessing U.S. deterrence strategy in the Indo-Pacific and in the Taiwan Strait?  Please join the Interpret: China project and a panel of leading experts for a discussion of efforts by the United States and its allies and partners to deter Chinese aggression, drawing on insights from newly translated Chinese documents. The expert panel will feature Michael Mazarr, senior political scientist at the RAND corporation, Elbridge Colby, co-founder and principal at The Marathon Initiative, Kristen Gunness, senior policy researcher at the RAND corporation, and Bonnie Glaser, managing director of the Indo-Pacific program at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. The panel will be moderated by the CSIS Freeman Chair in China Studies, Jude Blanchette.
