Cabo Ligado Monthly: November 2022

 

The November 2022 monthly report from Cabo Ligado — or ‘connected cape,’ ACLED's Mozambique conflict observatory with Zitamar News and MediaFax — is now available for download. This month’s edition covers insecurity, the return of internally displaced persons, and Total's force majeure decision; labor and natural resource conflicts in southern Cabo Delgado; important developments in Mocímboa da Praia; and more. Throughout November, ACLED records 35 organized political violence events in Cabo Delgado, with almost 90 reported fatalities.
