At least 272 people were killed in an attack attributed to the 23 March Movement (M23) on 29 November in Kishishe village, Rutshuru territory (North Kivu). Houses were burnt and several people are reported missing.

From January to August, a 64% increase in the numbers of severely malnourished children treated in Zamfara state were reported compared to the same period in 2021.

Over 3.9 million children under 5 are expected to be acutely malnourished in Sokoto, Zamfara, and Katsina States in the period of May 2022 – April 2023. An estimated 333,000 pregnant or lactating women are also expected to be acutely malnourished and in need of treatment...

Fighting between rival armed groups that started in August has re-escalated in November in Kodok town (Fashoda county), Upper Nile state.

On 30 November, a camp hosting more than 6,700 displaced people has been targeted over two days by armed groups resulting in an unconfirmed number of fatalities reaching to 3,000 people, and the displacement of the majority of IDPs out of the camp...
